Official launch requirements
EA and Steam publish the same two Windows targets for the launch build.
| Component | Minimum | Recommended |
|---|---|---|
| Target | 1920×1080, 30 FPS, Low | 2560×1440, 60 FPS, High |
| OS | 64-bit Windows 10 or 11 | 64-bit Windows 10 or 11 |
| CPU | Intel Core i5-8400 or AMD Ryzen 5 2600X | Intel Core i7-10700K or AMD Ryzen 7 3700X |
| Memory | 16 GB RAM | 32 GB RAM |
| Nvidia GPU | GeForce GTX 1080 | GeForce RTX 3080 |
| AMD GPU | Radeon RX 5600 XT | Radeon RX 7800 XT |
| Intel GPU | Arc B580 | No separate recommended Intel target listed |
| Storage | 50 GB available | 50 GB available |
| DirectX | Version 12 | Version 12 |
Windows 11 is recommended in both tiers, although 64-bit Windows 10 remains listed. An SSD is not explicitly required in the published table, so it should not be presented as an official minimum.
Upscaling and expected performance
EA says its 1440p/60 recommended target is best reached using the game’s default TSR setting or a vendor upscaler such as DLSS or FSR. The FAQ also describes the game as more CPU-bound than many graphically intensive genres. As a result, lowering a single visual option may not produce the same frame-rate gain it would in a GPU-limited game.
The honest way to use the table is as a target profile, not a guarantee for every scene. Background tasks, drivers, thermals, CPU age, and the selected upscaler can all affect the result.
Other confirmed PC support
- EA recommends installing the latest graphics driver from Nvidia, AMD, or Intel.
- Native 21:9 ultrawide output is supported.
- Xbox Series and PlayStation 5 controllers are mostly supported on PC, but some text entry still requires a keyboard.
- Controls can be remapped for controller and mouse-and-keyboard play.
- Steam is native and does not require the EA App, although the Steam store states that an EA Account and Steam account link are still required.
Is the minimum tier suitable for Steam Deck?
The minimum Windows specification should not be used as evidence of handheld compatibility. EA separately states that the game is not Steam Deck Verified at launch, and Valve’s current compatibility record lists it as Unsupported. Use the dedicated Steam Deck page for that time-sensitive status.
