Official PC and Mac requirements
For Windows, Steam lists a 64-bit Windows 10 minimum, an Intel i5 or similar processor, 8 GB RAM, a GeForce GTX 960-class GPU with at least 2 GB VRAM, and 12 GB storage. The recommended tier moves to an i7-class CPU, 12 GB RAM, and RTX 2060-class graphics with at least 8 GB VRAM while retaining 12 GB storage.
The macOS listing starts at Catalina with an i5-class CPU, 8 GB RAM, GTX 960-class graphics, and 12 GB storage, and explicitly requires a dedicated GPU. Check the live store before purchase because hardware wording can change after patches.
Steam Deck status on September 2, 2026
The reviewed SteamDB configuration says Valve is still working on adding Steam Deck support for the title. Community threads include players who run the game and players who report awkward controls, but those reports are not an official compatibility certification and may describe older builds.
Therefore, this page does not label Big Ambitions Verified. Open the live Steam compatibility panel on the Deck account, read any listed caveats, and use the refund window for a practical check if the current rating remains unsupported or unknown.
What to test on a handheld
Test text readability, numeric entry, store-layout placement, driving controls, suspend/resume, and a busy business day before committing to a long save. Community controller layouts can help, but they are user-maintained and may not match Build 3674.
Version note
Requirements and compatibility evidence were checked September 2, 2026. No FPS, battery-life, or thermal claim is made because this research did not include hands-on hardware testing.
