WheelMates System Requirements and Storage

WheelMates system requirements and storage start at Windows 10 or 11, 8 GB RAM, GTX 1060-class graphics, DirectX 12, broadband, and 15 GB free.

Minimum PC specification

WheelMates requires a 64-bit Windows 10 or 11 PC, 8 GB RAM, DirectX 12, broadband internet, and 15 GB of free storage. Steam lists an Intel Core i5-8400 or AMD Ryzen 5 2600 with a GeForce GTX 1060 or Radeon RX 580 as the minimum processor and graphics tier.

The recommended tier is a Core i7-10700K or Ryzen 7 3700X, 16 GB RAM, and a GeForce RTX 3060 or Radeon RX 6600 XT. The published list does not attach a target frame rate, resolution, or quality preset to either tier.

Why broadband appears

WheelMates is designed around two-player co-op and supports online sessions, so broadband is part of both the minimum and recommended requirements. Split-screen is also listed on Steam, but that does not remove online connectivity needs for downloading, updating, or using remote platform features.

Before troubleshooting

Leave additional storage headroom for installation and patches, update the GPU driver, and test the current build rather than assuming demo performance is identical. The June demo received connection and DLSS fixes; that historical note does not prove every hardware combination is issue-free at launch.
