Quick answer
The official Steam page lists these Windows tiers:
| Component | Minimum | Recommended |
|---|---|---|
| CPU | Intel Core i5-3470 or equivalent | Intel Core i5-7600 or equivalent |
| Memory | 8 GB RAM | 8 GB RAM |
| Graphics | NVIDIA GTX 750 Ti 2 GB or equivalent | NVIDIA GTX 1060 6 GB or equivalent |
| Storage | 1 GB available | 1 GB available |
The listing names Windows 7, 8, 10, and 11, but Steam separately notes that its client supports Windows 10 and later. A listed minimum is an entry target, not a promise of a particular frame rate, resolution, or absence of traversal stutter.
Before buying or troubleshooting
Compare exact hardware, confirm the operating system can run the current Steam client, update the GPU driver, and leave additional free space for saves and patches. Integrated graphics should not be assumed equivalent merely because they are newer than the named discrete GPU.
No official target frame rate accompanies the table. For that reason, this page does not convert the requirements into an unsupported 30-fps or 60-fps guarantee.
