The September progression overview separates overall Profile progress, Killer progress, individual Civilian progress, and Michael’s Weapon progress. Those labels explain why a productive session may advance your account without moving the specific unlock you expected.

Use challenges alongside ordinary play
Passive challenges track broad activity automatically. Progressive challenges have sequential requirements associated with particular characters, skins, or weapon types. Our recommendation is to choose one active progressive objective and keep its condition in mind during normal play.
Do not sacrifice every match to a poorly understood task. If progress fails to register, check the exact character, equipment, and challenge stage before deciding that the system is broken. Record the wording and the result so a support report can distinguish a missed condition from an actual issue.
Read prestige before confirming it
