Understand what the currency does
IllFonic’s progression overview says completing matches supplies Perk Points. Players spend them on perk-card rolls, with higher spending improving the chance of higher rarity. Points can also temporarily raise owned cards for a limited number of matches. That temporary duration is important: an upgrade is not automatically a permanent improvement.
Mobalytics independently summarizes the same system. Neither reference establishes a universal strongest deck for every civilian or a guaranteed return from a particular roll amount.
Build around a repeatable need
Before spending, identify the job your civilian performs most often and the situation that interrupts it. Compare your owned card descriptions against that need. A modest effect you use repeatedly may be more valuable than a rare effect that rarely applies to your decisions.
Keep the surrounding loadout stable while evaluating a deck. If you change the character, starting item, and several perks together, it becomes difficult to tell which choice helped.
Budget upgrades for matches you intend to play
Read the displayed match duration before temporarily upgrading a card. Use those upgrades when you have time to complete meaningful games and understand the underlying effect. Do not assume an upgraded card stays upgraded after its stated allowance.
This is a spending and evaluation framework, not a promised card recipe. Check the live deck interface for slot limits, stacking rules, and individual values; the reviewed written announcement does not justify inventing those details.
