The important installation checks
The Steam requirements reviewed on September 5 list 64-bit Windows 11, DirectX 12, a broadband connection, and 45 GB of storage. SSD or NVMe storage is explicitly required. Free space on a mechanical hard drive does not satisfy that storage note.
Minimum memory is 16 GB; recommended is 32 GB. Minimum graphics examples are GTX 1660+, RX 590+, or Arc A770+, described against a 1080p/30-fps target. The recommended list names RTX 3000-series or RX 7000-series graphics against a 4K/30-fps target.
Do not overread broad hardware labels
The publisher uses CPU platform descriptions: Intel LGA 1200+ or AMD AM4+ with Zen 2+ at minimum, and Intel LGA 1700+ or AMD AM5+ recommended. These are not precise per-model benchmarks. A socket name alone does not establish the performance of every compatible processor.
Likewise, a GPU series contains products with different capabilities. Compare independent measurements for your actual hardware when available instead of treating the listing as a promise for every card in the family.
What remains unverified
Steam’s public metadata lists Windows support, not native macOS or Linux versions. This page has not verified a Steam Deck rating or tested a Proton configuration. Epic Games Store separately lists the same PC requirements; matching storefronts confirm the published target, not an independent benchmark. Use the requirements as a compatibility screen, then test real performance cautiously.
