Start with the mission, not the aircraft
BULKHEAD confirms flyable aircraft and identifies transport and logistics as supported roles. That makes the first question practical: are you moving people, supplies, or yourself? Pick a destination that solves a team need, then make sure the intended passengers understand it.
Our recommendation for a new pilot is to learn handling without turning a full transport into a first lesson. Use whatever practice opportunity the current build provides and read your actual bindings. This guide does not assign universal throttle, landing, or camera keys.
Brief passengers before the approach
Tell the group where you intend to put them down and what you will do if the approach looks unsafe. Passengers should check their equipment and understand the exit plan instead of assuming every drop will be a landing or that every kit includes a parachute.
An August PC Gamer report describes a successful noncombat transport role. It is useful evidence that delivery can contribute, not a promised payout or proof that the same route remains safe.
Review the whole trip
A short flight is not automatically an efficient one. Count failed approaches, losses, time waiting for passengers, and whether anyone reached a useful position. If a destination is repeatedly contested, coordinate a different arrival with the group. For supply work, establish what is needed before leaving; delivering the wrong resource quickly still fails the mission.
