Check the non-negotiable requirements
2K’s PC support page lists an SSD, 110 GB of available space, AVX2 CPU support and DirectX feature level 12.0. These are compatibility requirements, not graphics options you can turn down.
The minimum CPU tier is a Core i5-9400 or Ryzen 5 1400 with 8 GB RAM. The recommended tier is a Core i5-10600 or Ryzen 5 3600X with 16 GB. Recommended GPUs are an RTX 2070 8 GB, RX 5700 8 GB or Arc A770.
Read a graphics card’s exact specification
Do not equate having DirectX installed with supporting every required hardware feature. Check the full GPU model and its available memory. A laptop using integrated graphics by default may not be running on the discrete GPU you compared with the requirements.
Confirm which drive Steam will use before starting the download. Leave additional free space for updates and routine operating-system work; the printed installation number is not a sensible target for filling the drive completely.
Complete authentication while online
2K specifies a one-time internet connection for initial Steam authentication and included software setup. It recommends a dual-analog controller.
Before going offline, launch the installed game, finish required setup and verify the particular mode you plan to play. Meeting a hardware table does not certify network modes, account access or a specific fps result. Use the support page as a compatibility floor and your own repeatable match as the performance check.
