Quick answer
Do not select an ability solely because a clip shows high damage. Divinum explicitly integrates skills into weapon combos, but value depends on the current build, target, resource state, and whether the animation leaves a safe exit.
Test one skill at a time
Use a familiar encounter and answer five questions:
- Does the skill hit grounded, airborne, or both kinds of targets?
- Where does it fit after a confirmed attack?
- What resource does it consume or require?
- Can you block, dodge, or reposition safely afterward?
- Does an equipped Rune change its risk or reward?
This process produces a build-specific answer without claiming unpublished frame counts.
Give each slot a job
A practical loadout covers more than one situation. One option might stabilize crowded encounters while another helps convert a safe opener. If both require the same narrow setup or exhaust the same resource, the pair may be fragile even when each looks strong alone.
Official patches have already corrected ability and mastery interactions. If a skill behaves differently from an older guide, update first and reread its live description. The community hub can help locate discussion, but names, numbers, and rankings must be verified against version 1.0.3c before treating them as current.
