Full-release timeline
Moonlighter 2 entered Steam Early Access on November 19, 2025 and launched version 1.0 on September 2, 2026. Older pages that call the game Early Access describe a historical state, not the current release channel.
The observed US base price was $29.99. A temporary launch discount was active during research, but regional pricing and sale timing vary. Use the live Steam cart rather than treating the discount as permanent.
What version 1.0 means
The full release adds the story conclusion and named systems such as Infinite Endless Vault, Shop Level 5, Bomb Path, and Hardcore. Existing saves and patch-specific behavior should be checked against the current announcement before following older Early Access advice.
