Build one readable chain
Inspect the direction, trigger, and target of every relic effect. Start with one reliable interaction, place its pieces, and leave space for an item that can extend or stabilize it. Filling every slot too early can force you to break a valuable chain when a stronger relic appears.
Know when to leave
Compare the expected value of one more room with the gold, quest progress, and synergy already carried. A strong backpack that never returns to the shop produces nothing. Extract when the loss would delay your next meaningful upgrade more than the additional room is likely to accelerate it.
