Early points have the highest value when they improve an action you already use in most encounters. Prioritize a dependable defensive option, a mobility or positioning tool, and resource efficiency for the form that currently solves your hardest fights.
Delay narrow bonuses
Conditional damage is attractive only when you can trigger it consistently. Before buying, ask whether the skill works against bosses, groups, and ordinary exploration threats. Save before a large investment and test the complete action loop; launch balance advice may change as players discover interactions or patches adjust values.
